Special thanks to our sponsor, FlashNews. When a winter storm or earthquake hits, FlashNews collects emergency information from education, law enforcement, utilities, government organizations and others with urgent news in specific media markets and provides it to the media via e-mail and through a continuously updated web site. The system also handles non-urgent news releases, distributing them to a single community or the entire Northwest--all for about $220 per year.
