This informal group serves PRSA members and other communication professionals south of Seattle who want professional development but can't always get to “the big city” for chapter events. You don't actually have to live or work in the South Sound to come to the events. You’re all invited to join this famously involved, really fun group of folks.
The group meets the second Thursday of most months and also hosts quarterly socials. Programs include topics from PR and marketing to event planning basics and communication theory.
The South Sound Group welcomes new co-chairs, Matthew Erlich and Liz Satterthwaite, who will coordinate timely, informative programs and fun networking opportunities. Matthew has more than 17 years of experience as an award-winning reporter and editor and more than a decade of additional experience in public relations for a variety of local agencies, businesses and nonprofit groups.
Liz has more than 10 years of communications experience, including providing information about Kitsap County’s stormwater programs and conducting construction outreach on Sound Transit’s light rail system.
